We are delighted to announce that The Sourcing Team picked up the award for Distributor Catalogue Cover of the Year 2011, at the British Promotional Merchandise Association Christmas lunch in December.
Gill Thorpe, Managing Director at The Sourcing Team credited The Engine Room and our work: 'This has been our year of rebrand and the catalogue design was part of our agency brief! We loved it along with all the other fantastic work Darren & Leo did for us from The Engine Room. It's great to see that others in the industry appreciated the simple but innovative approach, including the mid brochure case study tip in!'
Thank you Gill, congratulations Sourcing Team!

The Engine Room do Movember
Friday, 02 December 2011 12:35
We have raised over £500 for Movember UK and The Institute of Cancer Research!

'Movember', the month formally known as November, is dedicated to growing moustaches and raising awareness and funds for Cancer Research; specifically prostate and testicular cancer. This year, we got involved when the three gents at The Engine Room donated their top lips to the cause for 30 days in an effort to help change the face of men's health.
Our Mo's generated some laughs and attention, but more importantly raised a (current!) total of £520.
Darren, Leo and Mark are now delighted to shave the weight from their faces but are just as delighted about the amount all of us managed to collect at The Engine Room. We'd like to thank everyone for their support, especially all those who have donated to Movember UK through our team 'Mo'Selecta', Hair Cuttery UK in Huddersfield for their sponsored prize, The Huddersfield Daily Examiner and The Drum for their online and offline coverage.
We would also like to mention Code Blue Communications who hosted Huddersfield's first Movember Awards where we received an award for all three of our Mo Bro's, 'Best Rock Star Tache' 'Most Colourful Tache' and 'Most looking like Michael J Fox Tache.' We had a lot of fun and were happy we could help increase funds and raise even more awareness.
From everyone at The Engine Room, we hope you have enjoyed seeing our lovely taches sprout and not managed to forget what it's all about; supporting the Institute of Cancer Research and The Prostate Cancer Charities.
Happy Birthday to us!

It's 10 years today since we set up The Engine Room. We've come a long, long way since then and are very proud to say that many of our clients are still working with us today. To celebrate, we're planning lots of things which will be happening over the next few months.
It just leaves us to say a very BIG THANK YOU, to all our clients, partners, suppliers, friends, colleagues and others that have helped to shape what The Engine Room is today - you know who you are!
Here's to the next 10 years...
